Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan is a promising candidate for the upcoming November 2022 elections, to represent his home district in the House of Representatives, and will be running to represent his constituency, Nawalparasi West 2.

Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan is currently the Vice-President of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. He spent the majority of his life in Nepal Police, serving the country for 3 decades, culminating his career as the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

ध्रुवबहादुर प्रधान हाल राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टी (रा.प्र.पा)का उपाध्यक्ष हुनुहुन्छ।३ दशकसम्म देशको सेवा गर्दै आफ्नो जीवनको अधिकांश समय नेपाल प्रहरीमा बिताउनुभएको वहाँ नेपाल प्रहरीको वरिष्ठ पद आइजिपिसम्म पुग्न सफल हुनुभएको थियो ।

Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan served the nation as Nepal went through several political transitions during the span of his career, with a commitment to safety, security and peacekeeping. He is known and well-respected for his fairness and non-discriminatory approach in keeping the law and justice above all along with bringing in several positive reforms for the welfare of the Nepal Police. Dhruba Pradhan the past president of the Nepal Olympic Committee, as a life-long ardent supporter of sports, he has worked hard to raise the profile of the Nepal sports fraternity on the international stage. He continues to give back to his native district Nawalparasi to improve access to education, healthcare, sports facilities and continues to mentor youth aspiring to enter the Nepal Police force.

मुलुकले धेरै राजनीतिक संक्रमणहरू पार गर्दै-गर्दा उनले आफ्नो कार्यकालभरि नागरिक सुरक्षा र शान्ति स्थापनाको प्रतिबद्धताका साथ राष्ट्रको सेवा गरे। कानून र न्यायलाई सदैव सबैभन्दा माथि राख्ने एवम निष्पक्ष र भेदभावरहित दृष्टिकोण राख्ने व्यक्तित्वको रुपमा वहाँ सम्मानित हुनुहुन्छ। यसको साथै नेपाल प्रहरी प्रणालीमा विभिन्न सकारात्मक सुधार ल्याउने प्रहरी अधिकृतको रुपमा वहाँ परिचित हुनुहुन्छ। नेपाल ओलम्पिक कमिटीका भूतपूर्व अध्यक्ष समेत रहनुभएका वहाँले आजीवन खेलकुदको कट्टर समर्थकका रूपमा नेपालको खेल जगतको प्रोफाइल अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मञ्चमा उच्च राख्न कडा मेहनत गर्नुभएको छ। वहाँले आफ्नो गृह-जिल्ला नवलपरासीमा शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सेवा, खेलकुद सुविधामा सर्व-साधारणको पहुँच बढाउनुको साथै नेपाल प्रहरीमा भर्ना हुन चाहने युवाहरूलाई निरन्तर रुपमा सल्लाह दिने कार्य गर्दै आउनुभएको छ ।
